HSTS0412DCT2008
VENDOR: SITA, INC. CONTRACT NO.: HSTS04-12-D-CT2008 THE GOAL OF THE AWT PROGRAM IS TO INSTALL A SYSTEM AT CHECKPOINTS THAT WILL DISCREETLY MONITOR THE SECURITY LINE IN ORDER TO ACCURATELY RECORD AND REPORT WAIT TIME DATA. AWT PROVIDES ACCURATE OBJECTIVE SAMPLING, ALLOWS TSOS TO FOCUS ON PASSENGER SCREENING, AND PROVIDES TIMELY INFORMATION FOR MANAGING PASSENGER CHECKPOINT LINES. DEPLOYMENT OF AWT IS INDIRECTLY ASSOCIATED WITH THREAT MITIGATION, AS SHORTER WAIT TIMES DECREASE THE CONCENTRATIONS OF PASSENGERS IN AIRPORT TERMINALS THAT MAY PRESENT A TARGET FOR TERRORIST ACTIVITIES.
